First, you should know I crochet, knit and spin fiber into yarn. I learned to crochet when I was 13 after school from someone willing to teach kids crocheting. Knitting and spinning came later.
Next you should know I am extremely stubborn, you tell me I can't do something and I will prove I can even if it means working three jobs to do it.
I opened an online shop because there is less overhead cost. Opening a business is expensive even online.
I think people should have access to buying really good quality yarn and fiber that is hand dyed.
I have seen what a lot of the shops charge for hand dyed yarn of good quality, and frankly I can't afford it. I am sure other people can't afford it either.
What is nice is Gary is behind everything I do, making suggestions. He was shocked by the prices of a lot of yarn. It is beautiful and larger shops have more overhead than I do.
Regular people like hand dyed great quality yarn too. Granted my selection is limited. There will be more soon and I am still learning.
